Dear Member and Guest:

Enclosed you will find the agenda and registration form for our Annual Technical Meeting. This years meeting will be held in St. Louis, Missouri at the Doubletree Westport Hotel February 23th through the 25th, 2009. We are confident this meeting will be very informative and one of our very best. Please keep in mind the dates and remember the cut off date at the Doubletree for the NW&SA rate is February 2, 2009. When calling and making a reservation please mention the NW&SA meeting to get the group rate of $99 per night + tax. Tabletop display areas are available for vendors. On Monday and Tuesday night we will hold a hospitality hour to allow you to discuss issues with your vendors and clients.We have three important round table discussions that we think will be very informative to you: “Coal Pile Physical Inventory Corrections” which will be hosted by a panel of several electric power company experts, “Location of a Sweep Sampler and Belt-Conveyor Scale on the Same Belt Conveyor” and “Coal Weighing and Sampling: Value Chain Impacts” with questions and answers following each topic.

We again are honored by having the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) host their Belt-Conveyor Scale Workshop, which will immediately follow the NW&SA technical meeting on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday February 25 and 26. (Pending Travel Approval)
